You will be provided with a personalized sports-specific nutrition plan. Follow-up appointments are provided for ongoing nutrition education and development of your nutrition program as your training seasons progresses up to competition. Food sensitivity testing for all non IgE food reactions for athletes struggling with GI disorders such as Irritible Bowel Syndrome (IBS), ulcerative colitis, crohn’s disease, as well as migraines/headaches, and other inflammatory conditions. Athletes can also benefit if they are experiencing pain and inflammation which is triggered by food and/or chemicals in your everyday (even healthy) diet. The MRT test is personalized and combined with the LEAP protocol, and a phased oligoantigenic/immunocalm elimination diet for optimal results.
Optimal nutritional status is a vital foundation of health and performance. Monique has worked with hundreds of athletes participating in endurance sports including top amateur competitors, and professional athletes and teams. She has consulted with USA Cycling and USA Triathlon and was a member of their Performance Enhancement Teams for the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Monique has consulted with the Chicago Fire Soccer Team and professional basketball and baseball players. She has worked with athletes participating in team sports at the high school, collegiate, and club levels.
